About Our Products

  1. Are all of the art pieces you have original?
    Beloved Doll Designs produces its own original art pieces and original characters.
  2. How old are some of these characters?
    Many of the characters we have in our Anime series have a long history, being under production and under going changes over many years. The ages of the characters range from veyr new to very old.

  3. Can I use your art on some stuff (such as keychains, buttons, cake toppers, party invites, etc) and sell it?
    If you are interested in using our art work, you first must speak with us to discuss details and to work out a deal. You may only produce our work if you have received our permission and you can only get our permission if you contact us first. If you sell work with our art on it without our permission, you will be breaking the law as the works are all registered to the Copyright Office.
  4. I saw someone outside of Beloved Doll Designs selling you art / claiming to be the original artist of your art.
    If you find someone is selling our art pieces without our permission or posting the images while claiming to be the artist who made them, please do report them to us right away.

About Our Products

  1. Where are these items made?
    All items on the Beloved Doll Designs website are made in the USA. You will not find any overseas sweatshops here! I strive to either make the items myself or work only with partners who create in the USA as well.
  2. I have an idea for a product or for one of the Anime series!
    While we are happy to receive feedback on our work, accepting creative ideas from outside sources (outside the company) can be a sticky situation. We can certainly discuss ideas, however, we will need to do so under a contract. A contract for sharing ideas will protect both parties (us and you) regardless of what the outcome is after the discussion. The contract must be agreed upon and signed by both persons before the idea can be accepted or implemented. If you are still interested, you can use the contact form to reach out to us with your ideas.

About Custom Work

  1. Will you make any custom items for me?
    Custom items are certainly available. Check out the Services page for more details on the various customs work I can do for you. If something isn’t listed, you can contact me to discuss the details.
  2. What are the requirements for sending in artwork for custom / service work?
    Formats I accept are: jpg, png, psd, tiff and gif. The bigger the graphic the better for printing purposes to make the graphics as crisp and high quality as possible. Minimum DPI is 200.
  3. How long will it take you to get _______ done?
    This varies depending on what service or custom item you are requesting and how many others are ahead of you. The page that talks about this custom service will contain the details as to how long it will take to have it done. However, note that some services are so customized that a direct inquiry will be needed first before an estimate time frame can be given.

  1. Are your graphical services only available for businesses?
    No, individual persons can hire me for graphical services as well.
  2. How long will it take you to get _______ done?
    This varies depending on what service or custom item you are requesting and how many others are ahead of you. However, note that some services are so customized that a direct inquiry will be needed first before an estimate time frame can be given.

Shipping

  1. Do you ship internationally?
    Yes, Beloved Doll Designs has shipped to various countries across the world. International shipping rates do apply.
  2. What can I expect with my order going through customs and being an international order?
    The shipping method we use is USPS – the offer the lowest rates for shipping.International customers are responsible for all fees imposed, including import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the buyer’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays of weeks or even months. All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms as is legally required – no exceptions.

    We do not refund original shipping charges for buyers who refuse items due to not wanting to pay the customs charges applied by their country.

    All international orders are marked “Merchandise” and will not be marked as “Gift” as this is illegal.

  3. When will my order ship?
    In stock items will ship between one and three business days. Backorder items have time frame indications in their descriptions. Due to the amount of time it makes each item being variable, the expected ship time for backorder items will vary.
  4. Will I receive a tracking number?
    Yes! All orders that ship will have their tracking numbers emailed to the purchaser (exceptions are orders that are shipped via regular mailing envelope as tracking is not available). For Internationals, the tracking number is labelled “Customs Barcode Number.”
  5. How long will it take for my order to deliver?
    Delivery times vary from location to location. Delivery times will vary even more so for Internationals as they have customs to go through. Customs can hold up deliver times for days, weeks and even months.

Shopping

  1. Where is your online shop?
    The Beloved Doll Designs online shop can be found at store.beloveddolldesigns.com. We also have an Etsy shop.
  2. How do I make a purchase from your online shop?
    The shop utilizes PayPal for the shopping cart and check out process. On the top right section of the product page, you will see a button to add the item to your cart. Just click on that button and it will sit in queue for purchasing. Once you are done shopping, you can click on the shopping cart button and proceed with the checkout process.
  3. But I don’t have/want a PayPal account! How can I buy from the online shop?
    It is a common misconception that one would need an account with PayPal in order to use it to make a payment. PayPal is simply the gateway for credit card payments.When you begin the check out process, you will be directed to PayPal. Instead of choosing to pay with your PayPal account, select the option to pay with a debit or credit card. You’ll then be prompted to fill in your billing and credit card information. You’ll also be asked whether you want to save your information with PayPal. Uncheck the box if you don’t want to. You’ll still need to enter your email address so PayPal can send you a receipt.PayPal places restrictions on how often you can use their Guest Checkout feature. If you run into any trouble or have any questions about PayPal’s Guest Checkout, please contact PayPal directly. PayPal’s phone numbers are: 1-888-221-1161 (US), 1-402-935-2050 (if calling from outside the US)
  4. I am not in the USA. Can I still buy from the shop?
    Yes! Beloved Doll Designs ships internationally. See our Shipping section of the FAQ for more details.
